O Francois-Marie Rosset (1743-1824) ήταν Γάλλος σχεδιαστής με καταγωγή από τη Lyon που επισκέφτηκε την Ελλάδα στα πλαίσια της ευρύτερης περιήγησής του στην Μεσόγειο στα τέλη του 18ου αιώνα. Στα 1790 δημοσίευσε το έργο του «Moeurs et Coutumes Turques et Orientales / dessinées dans le Pays en 1790» από το οποίο προέρχονται οι παρακάτω γκραβούρες, οι οποίες παρουσιάζουν την αστική φορεσιά και τον πολυτελή, διακοσμημένο με μαργαριτάρια κεφαλόδεσμο των Αθηναίων γυναικών του τέλους του 18ου αιώνα.
Francois-Marie Rosset (1743-1824) was a French designer with origins from Lyon, who visited Greece in the context of a broader tour in the MediterraneanSea in the late 18th century. In 1790 he published his work : «Moeurs et Coutumes Turques et Orientales / dessinées dans le Pays en 1790», from which the prints are taken showing the urban costume and the luxurious, decorated with pearls, headdress of the Athenian women of the late 18th century
